Ospăț de ziua Sfântului Martin

Vorba e că cine nu mâncă gâscă de ziua Sfântului Martin, va rămâne flămând pe tot timpul anului. Dar știați că friptura de gâscă era popular nu numai pentru gustul ei, dar și pentru că a fost folosit pentru prognoze?

Primele înscrisuri despre ospățul de ziua Sfântului Martin sunt datate din 1171. Atunci ziua Sfântului Martin marca sfârșitul anului țărănesc: munca de câmpie lua sfârșit pe această zi, și a început perioada repausului de iarnă.

Slugile au primit salariul anual și o gâscă, pentru că șeptelul trebuia redus înaintea iernii. Aceasta a fost ziua gând a fost degustat vinul nou și au fost tăiate gâscile îndopate. Tradiția provine din timpuri păgâne, creștinii au adoptat obiceiurile.

La Castelul Haller din Ogra ospățul de ziua Sfântului Martin ține 3 zile: pe 6, 7 și 8 noiembrie așteptăm oaspeții cu carne de gâscă, vin nou și muzică live.
